Small gathering in a wonderful building with beautiful gardens. 1/2 hour of Silent Meditaton. Very friendly. Accompanied a friend who is a Regular. The Guest Speaker was amazing.
I have been coming here for many years! They are very welcoming to all and everyone there is so nice. They have three different meditation groups that meet here. I enjoy SBMG which is very diverse. They have a different teacher each Sunday morning from 10:00 am - noon. They also have monthly day long retreats, People of Color Sangha, and Family Sangha. They also have beginners instruction on the last Sunday of the month.
A meditation community of caring people on the path of reducing suffering and embracing loving-kindness. A diverse group, everyone is welcome. In addition to 3 different meditation groups, there are also family and children activities, book reading clubs, weekend retreats, and recovery programs. Check the calendar for more info.
This is such a beautiful meditation center. The Sunday night groups are diverse and the people are warm and friendly. They also have a meditation for people of color the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 4:15pm. What is unique about the center is that they have different sitting groups: Zen, SBMG, and Insight (Vipassana) Meditation. The SBMG, which meets on Sunday evenings, is the most diverse and varied among them all. It is good place to practice if you are new meditation. They also have a large parking lot with lots of space.
Very nice facility. Safe, clean and peaceful. Attended a meditation retreat over the weekend and loved it. I've got nothing but good things to say.
