I attended a few meditation classes and went to a few services, and they loved on me just like everyone else. This was my safe space! Blessing to everyone at this temple. I’ve been going to this Temple for over 10 years. Highly recommend
I am reposting because it did not show up on my other account so hopefully I am not doubling up on reviews that being said..... I am so grateful I found this little Slice of Heaven. Everyone here has been open, friendly and inquisitive not rigid in their mindset. I have a service dog for seizures and get very nervous going places as I have experienced a lot of negativity and judgment I have had nothing but kindness support and encouragement even though I am not a regular attendee I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a little solace in these trying times and who would like to sit in a very loving, kind, and beautiful atmosphere. The person who gave them one stars is not correct in her comments, although not common lamas are allowed to marry, I met several in India. I would encourage everyone to have their own experience. The folks here are kind, wise, and open-hearted, and I have learned much in my few visits. How people treat other people and all sentient beings is always important to me. I think the people that run this place and put on the programs for other to benefit work very hard and are very special. They also have open meditations for all levels and it is nice to sit with other meditators whether or not you consider yourself an official Buddhist. This little gem is quietly tucked away in our local neighborhood and is a joy to visit💞
I am so grateful I found this little Slice of Heaven. Everyone here has been open and friendly and inquisitive, not set in their ways. I have a service dog for seizures and get very nervous going places because I have had some very bad results and a lot of judgment. I have had nothing but kindness and support even though I am not a regular attendee. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like a little Solace and to sit in a beautiful and loving kind environment and atmosphere. The person who gave them one star is not correct in her comments and if you look at her reviews they are negative for most of her places of practice, so maybe it is that person's mindset? I am not sure but I would advise checking this place out for yourself to have your own ecperience as they have been nothing but kind, open-hearted, and I have learned alot in my visits. I think the people that run this place and put on the programs are very special. They also have meditations open for all levels which is nice to sit with other mefitators whether or not you consider yourself an official Buddhist
