DO NOT RECCOMMEND. Use to be a nice place to keep your boat and bring your family and friends to.However its CITY owned and ran and the city decided to put a homeless RV camp on the marina grounds.....Yes i said homeless camp. We will.see how soon boats/cars are broken into and who is NOW LIVING ON YOUR BOAT!!!!

Nice and clean, secure slip despite traffic from community park. Private, accessible, and exactly what you'd expect to get for your money here. Just look out for after dark critters here, as soon as the sun goes down dozens of possums and skunks roam the park and raid the trash and make a huge mess everywhere. I've seen over 15 of them between walking from my car to boat one evening recently.

I have docked my boat at the Sacramento Marina for over 12 years. The overall design of the docks is extremely well done. This includes walkways that are wide, stable, made of concrete and metal with wooden and plastic bumper rails on the sides. The marina workers are friendly, courteous, helpful and take pride in keeping everything clean, nice and repaired. There are many amenities such as a gas dock, pump-out, Marina office with a bathroom/shower, secured parking at night and a small store. There is no river current within the Marina and the wind is limited because of the nature of the levies. That makes docking your boat a much easier if you're not having to fight current or wind. The patrons of the Marina have always been nice and friendly and it seems that the occasional rowdy troublemakers are asked to leave. I've had my boat located at two other local marinas in the Sacramento area and this one is the best by far. One thing that could be make the experience even better, is that it would be wonderful to have a restaurant and bar at the marina or within walking distance.
