I wish i can give 0 star. They canceled my son lesson all the time and keep charging us every month. We complain and they give make up day. But they sont have any available for make up day and the make up token has expiration. I want to get refund and cancel.

New review 10/17/25 My review here is more of a parting one, not that of a present customer. Initially we were disappointed with a few coaches and was not happy with how the coaches treated all the kids in general until we started learning with Coach Joe. With Joe, we've been at SS for years. He is simply the best! Now that he is leaving, we are parting with Safesplash since our kids can swim well. We had an open issue before leaving and after 2 weeks of calling safesplash and talking to multiple people, 3 people stand out as stars for us. Natalie and Chima listened to our concerns wholeheartedly and did their best to get us support to resolve our problem. Their actions helped us along the way to escalate our concern and I am thankful for that. Everyone else I spoke to brushed us off and said they would help but they never carried through. Our situation was then taken over by Laurie, which not only took the time and thoughtfulness to help us but also transcended our expectations. She did everything in her power to help and we can't thank her enough. She is utmost kind, professional, and solution driven. Thank you Safesplash for having such a stellar member on your team. Original review: Instructor Joe is absolutely phenomenal with our daughter Bella. She's taken classes elsewhere and has never really established a trusting relationship with her instructor, but here with Joe, she is excited to come to class and genuinely likes her instructor. We very much appreciate Joe's attention and teaching style. He is engaged and keeps the students' attention well. It's so much fun watching her in the water and I would highly recommend him as an instructor to everyone I know.

Our first swim lesson for my 27-month-old at SafeSplash (Crane Court, San Jose) was a disaster. We arrived at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM Toddler Transition class, but no staff were present, and there were no obvious signs in the 24 Fitness gym when you enter the building. The gym’s front desk couldn’t help, and the SafeSplash phone rep didn’t know where the instructor was. The instructor, showed up at 9:55 AM and was unprepared for beginners, giving my daughter toys while focusing on other kids. The class was overcrowded (four kids instead of three), and one parent rudely tried to exclude us, making us feel unwelcome. The water was cold, and my daughter wanted to leave. The supervisor arrived later and offered a refund, she was understanding my frustration and she is a great person. Overall, disorganized, unprofessional, and unwelcoming swim school —I won’t return. Save your time and find a better swim school.

Ayla and Alvin have both gone above and beyond to accommodate our son's sensory and other sensitivities. They are both so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. We are so grateful our kid has such amazing people teaching him to swim!
