What a great evening we had at Sam’s Steakhouse in St. Louis, Missouri. We had reservations and were immediately seated. I would say there’s a main dining area and there’s the piano bar area. Our table was in the piano bar area. We thoroughly enjoyed her piano playing and beautiful singing. They have a great menu selection, good drinks and wine. We started with jumbo lump crab-cakes with creole remoulade sauce which were delicious. Our entrées were the Grantwood filet with a béarnaise sauce and Tenderloin Louisiana with jumbo shrimp creole butter sauce. Also, included are crisp side salads and a choice of baked potato or loaded potato. The entree’s were so flavorful and savory. I say this is what a fine steakhouse should be- a superb meal, attentive friendly waiting staff, and a wonderful restaurant with live music. Yes, it’s pricey, but it’s worth it for a great dining experience!

This classic steakhouse will not disappoint if you’re looking to treat yourself to a nice meal. Tried the filet mignon with lobster claw and Bernese sauce and the NY strip. High quality meat and the loaded baked potato was also fantastic. The only disappointment was the Cesar Salad. The holiday decorations were great too.

It was my birthday and I chose this restaurant from tik tok reviews. I love love love steak so I had to see if the hype was real and it definitely was. White table cloth steak house but feels like you could bring your family here on any given night. The restaurant is decorated beautifully for the holiday season. The starter was the table bread which was warm and soft perfection. I had the filet mignon 9oz, loaded baked potato and substituted the mixed green salvager for their Caesar along with the Pinot Grigio. My handsome date had the filet mignon under a lobster tail and made love face every time he took a bite. While verbally expressing how good it was. Everything was so good we wanted to eat the decorative flower on the plate. Thanks to Joey I got a cheesesteak to end the night. This may be my go to steak house moving forward. Check it out you won’t be disappointed.

This is the first time we are here. The food was fantastic! I had a 6 oz Filet Mignon with mashed yams and stuffing. It was all so tasty. I also had a slice of pumpkin pie that was so good. My husband has a 14 oz ribeye with salad and baked potato. They also had a traditional turkey dinner and those that were with us said that was also so good. Our waiter was Marty and he was great! All of the wait staff was so nice. And the owner or manager came over several times to ensure we were good.

I was at Sam's Steakhouse after not coming here for almost a year. I came here hoping for live music. I say in the bar because the band was playing and while everyone was singing, the server came over and said that people were being too loud. It's a bar. With music. People singing should be encouraged. Over the years I've been here dozens of times for the atmosphere and the live music. The food is excellent, but the atmosphere has declined rapidly over the last year. The bartender, Ava, is absolutely, TOP SHELF. THE VERY BEST. EVERYONE Else, NOT SO MUCH.
