Dr. Lam was very attentive during my first few visits, but over time I found myself having to remind her where we had left off in previous appointments. She also recommended supplements that contained gluten, even after I had clearly explained that I am gluten intolerant. During one visit, a significant portion of the appointment was spent reviewing old lab results, which felt unproductive. I initially sought help for stomach bloating and suspected I might have SIBO, but she told me she was fairly certain I did not. After months of undergoing food sensitivity tests, labs, and taking the supplements she recommended, my symptoms only worsened. I eventually decided to see another naturopathic doctor, who diagnosed me with SIBO. Overall, I feel that I lost both time and money during this process.
