When you take a trip with Scovare, you have made a friend for life. My first trip was almost ten years ago, and Captain Shane remembered our group. This time, I brought my husband who came with me for the Christmas boat light experience, and he said he'd happily come back and do this again. What a fun night - you can relax on the sailboat moored at the dock in the marina, or opt for a ride on Captain Chris's pontoon boat to see the boat parade as they travel up and down the Willamette. And no extra charge for this! Memorable night, and Shane and Chris were as much a part of the magic as the bedecked and delightful boats were.

What a great way to spend a sunny, Sunday afternoon. With a little assist from the engine we got under way, but shortly thereafter the main sail went up, the spinnaker was unfurled, and the engine went silent. The weather even cooperated: the sky was clear, the temperature was 68 degrees, and the wind was 8 knots, gusting to 15. With Captain Chris at the helm, we tacked back and forth across the Willamette River taking in all the sights the Portland skyline had to offer.

We rented 2 boats for a team building event and had a great time. We had Captain Shane and Captain Chris. They were both friendly, knowledgeable and shared fun facts along the river as they taught us about sailing too. Shane's communication with reservations and answering questions was prompt, which I appreciated. It was a fun event, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again!

Chris was awesome on our boat tour. He’s very friendly and charismatic. Dude knows a lot about Portland and its bridges. Our group was able to set anchor and swim and hangout. Would definitely recommend 100%

Captain Chris was an absolutely amazing host from start to finish. From the moment we stepped onto the sailboat, he made us feel welcome, safe, and completely at ease.
