As good of an experience as you can get at an urgent care. They handled me with care and kindness and were able to get me out of there within 30 mins, which I know is rare and unlikely. Sara was great as was everyone who handled me from the front desk to the triage nurse and intake nurse.

I had to take a family member here after they had a deep cut near their eye after an accident at home. We are Scripps patients and that did help to speed up the intake process. The staff was professional and empathetic. The nurses and staff—especially Sara, a PA—were skilled and treated my family with a lot of care. They weren’t particularly busy at 8PM on a holiday weekend so we were in and out in less than an hour. Thanks to the team here.

I’ve been very disappointed by this urgent care several times now. But the last time I was in, I had to tell the doctor what test to order, which ended up showing as positive in my chart and I never received a call. I had to contact the urgent care to tell them to call me and instead they sent in a prescription with no explanation or phone call leaving me to my own resources. Staff feels a little non-professional as well.

This was the best emergency hospital experience I’ve ever had. Scripps urgent care runs like a well oiled machine. We were on travel to La Jolla and at 1 we decided we absolutely needed to take my 7 year old son to see a doctor as he had trouble breathing and a croup-ey cough. Everything from parking, check in with the lovely ladies upfront and nurses who made my kid feel super comfortable (they even gave him a little shark stuffy) and within the hour we saw a super kind and well-spoken and we’re on our way home. They said they would call with test results and any additional instructions in case anything came back positive. I was expecting to spend to hours on the phone that morning on hold, but sure enough, there was a voicemail saying he tested positive for flu and they sent the prescription to the pharmacy so it was ready to go. Wow, wow! This is how medical care should be!! 5 stars all around.

This was genuinely the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. I went at 9 pm last night and had little to no wait. They listened to my symptoms and were very thorough in testing me for several things to figure out what the problem was. It was clean, comfortable, and all the staff were very friendly. They gave me meds within 30 minutes and kept me there until the meds were working. Very thankful for the night staff at Scripps Clinic Urgent Care Torrey Pines🙏
