I love Seattle Dance Fitness and have been coming to classes for more than 7 years now! I can’t recommend it highly enough! The community is very inclusive and accepting and FUN. There are a variety of classes to choose from as well, including strength training, yoga, low impact dance classes, a higher energy cardio dance party and so much more. All of the instructors are great with a lot of experience in the classes they teach. And there’s no need to feel intimidated - all levels of dance experience (from zero to advanced) fit right in! If you’re looking for a great workout, a wonderful group of people, possibly making new friends and feeling fit and strong, this is the place!
I have so much fun at Seattle Dance Fitness classes. I started because I wanted to lift weights. The booty pump class is amazing! I have been lifting at this class for about 6 months and I am definitely stronger. I also went from a flat butt to a little booty! The classes are so fun that it is easy to make working out a habit. SDF classes got me to be consistent for myself. I am so glad I found this studio. I could go on and on about how great the instructors are. Jess has curated a team of wonderful fitness queens. You can be sure that no matter which class you attend, you are in good hands at SDF.
I started taking classes with SDF in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic, and it's been such a fun way to stay active. The classes are fun and challenging, and I'm always surprised at how quickly the class goes. Jessica and her instructors make me sweat and smile and bring joy to my day! I love the Cardio Dance Party classes, but my most favorite class right now is Booty Pump. Building muscle is so important as we age, and Booty Pump is a fun and energetic strength class that keeps me coming back for more. Plus the community within SDF is just the cherry on top!
It’s easy to say that SDF has changed my life. I have been attending the dance classes here for almost a year now, and I can’t picture my life without it. I have tried a lot of workout classes and played a lot of sports, but nothing has ever compared to the joy I feel taking classes at the studio. Not only is it one of the best and most effective workouts I’ve tried (the amount I sweat is unreal), but it’s truly the most fun I’ve ever had working out. If you wanted to be a dancer growing up but never had the chance to, I highly recommend taking any dance class! I feel like I’m living out my dancing dreams :) The instructors make dancing feel accessible for all dance levels, but also push you to constantly improve. Beyond the classes themselves, the community offered at SDF is unmatched. Everyone is so uplifting and makes you feel seen/cared about. To sum it up, SDF is a place where you can workout, dance, be silly, fun, and sexy, prioritize yourself, grow as a person, AND find the best community to be apart of.
The absolute BEST place to dance and sweat in Seattle! WERQ with Ruben and Ginny is my favorite class but there are so many different classes to choose from! The people have FUN and you can tell community is everything g to this studio. The owner, Jessica, has built something truly special. Highly recommend!!
