I attended the Thursday evening meditation with some colleagues a few years ago. The environment was clean, and the staff were hospitable. Definitely recommend this place to anyone curious about Buddhism or want guided meditation.

We have attended the SMC since 2005. This is a meditation center that houses several Thai monks and their support team. The focus is, in my opinion, to provide teaching monks to this center in order to teach local Thai and American people how to meditate in the Terwada style. There have been several Thai masters here that have become my life long friends and are great teachers. Current monks, in what is now really '24, are pretty young and not as experienced as others that came through. They stay about 2 years. Kind, helpful, very socially active in the community. You'll definitely find a friend there.
