I've been bringing my dog here for years. It truly is a resort for pets. A nice bed with a night time snack. Quality dogfood and the staff clearly loves the pets. I also get my dog groomed here as well. He loves his groomer, Amber.

I bring my boy Brewno there throughout the year for day boarding, but a month ago I had to board him for a week due to an unexpected family situation that occurred ,and all I can say is there is such a relief and peace of mind that you feel when you drop off our pet at Second Home. Having a place to rely on to take care of your pet when you’re under great stress is a blessing and I’m so grateful for Kristin, Dawn ,Megan, Kim and the team overall. I’m sorry I can’t remember all the names ,but they are all good and deserve the recognition for taking good care of our pets. I highly recommend this place for Boarding , day care, grooming and day boarding . Make sure you make your reservations ahead of time cause they get booked before the holidays .

Its been 4 years , we keep our boy Ace here , be it for a day, 2 days or even for a month. The staffs there love Ace and Ace lives them. We never had any issue , the grooners are also extremely professional. For long stays they have paid option for daily pictures and videos too.

Second Home Pet Resort is truly heaven on earth for pets! I HIGHLY recommend to anyone in need of care for there pets. I had to fly to Chicago for a wedding and couldn't bring my service dog because I wasn't sure how she would handle going on a plane ride. I have never left my dog alone for even one day or overnight. She hasn't even been home alone for more than an hour or two. Obviously leaving her anywhere with anyone for the very first time was a struggle and extremely nerve wrecking for me and my dog. Not with Second home pet resort… it was truly such a blessing knowing she was in safe hands! The staff were all so welcoming, kind and understanding. I specifically want to thank and talk about MEGAN and JA! These two women are absolutely the sweetest and most loving animal people I've ever met!! Megan spent so much time answering all of my questions I had before making my pets reservation. After speaking with her, I felt so at peace and knew my dog was going to have a wonderful time. She helped me get my puppy signed up for pool play time and informed me of the 24/7 live video cam access which I added, so I could see my puppy at all times in her room. MEGAN also gave me an in person tour of the entire resort which was gorgeous! I was able to look at all the room options and then I decided to go with the indoor/outdoor patio elite suite. Words cannot express how thankful I am for MEGAN going above and beyond helping me! She is such a sweetheart and she is the main reason I decided to book my reservation for my puppy at this resort. Also, I would like to thank JA. She was in charge of taking care of my puppy during her pool time. I have to say, she is absolutely wonderful! JA went out of her way and sent me the most precious photos of my puppy having the time of her life! She even threw balls into the water for my dog because I told her that is her favorite. She looked so happy in every photo and I could tell she was having a blast! Thank you JA for taking such amazing care of my puppy! Overall, I highly recommend Second Home Pet Resort! I consider myself to be quite the overprotective pet parent but with second home, I truly felt at ease throughout the entire process. From the moment I dropped my puppy off up until the day I went to pick her up I received incredible support and understanding from the staff. They made the whole process so relaxing and I had no worries leaving my baby girl. Thank you to everyone who took such excellent care of my puppy and being there to support me throughout the process as well. I will definitely be recommending Second Home Pet Resort to all my friends and family because this is without a doubt, the place to take your pet!

I’ve boarded my pup here twice now, and each time has been an amazing experience! The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, I could tell my dog was in great hands from the moment I dropped him off. One of the things I appreciate most is the 24/7 webcam access. Being able to check in on him whenever I wanted gave me so much peace of mind, especially while being away. It’s clear they truly care about the animals they look after. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for safe, trustworthy, and loving care for their dog!
