There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude and appreciation for Sit Means Sit’s owner(s) and staff! Thanks to their board and train, in just a short time, our very large young dog is becoming so much more confident, is getting much better on our walks! We can’t wait for better weather to start experiencing more and more places with him. The time they have taken to make me feel more confident to work with him has changed our lives! Highly recommend them!!!
I had such a great experience here! When I first went in for an initial meeting, I was nervous and skeptical. After the meeting I felt at ease and knew that they would love and care for my dog while in their care. After the first session, I saw such great improvement and knew it was well worth it. The same level of attention and care was applied throughout all of her sessions. Everyone at the facility was very nice and caring! They knew what they were doing and answered all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend if you’re looking for training!
We brought our 4mo old puppy in for training as soon as we could after all her vaccinations. She was adopted from a shelter at 10 weeks and she was a nightmare. Destroying the house, biting, peeing pooping everywhere. I had done some basics training her at home but was not getting anywhere. Penny our trainer took her for a week and returned her as THE BEST DOG. She trained our puppy Stormy to focus allowing her to follow commands. She can do all the basics and now we are working on more advanced things. I almost cried when we were able to walk her off leash at a busy park, at only 6months! This is the best money I have ever spent on training and have friends who have spent more and not gotten as good results. We are thrilled that we choose to work with Sit means Sit. I will add that training takes work outside of the training they offer and if you do not train at home or practice what the dog has been taught then you will not get good results or keep the learned skills. Strom and I continue to go to group classes and practice daily. I will send all our future dogs to Sit means Sit. We are so grateful to Penny especially, thank you! Katie Abtahi
Mindy and her team at the Keller Sit Means Sit are amazing. I took my 2 yo mini dachshund Lucy to meet Mindy and get an evaluation. Mindy took the hour to walk me through the training process. She is truly an expert in her field. Their training abilities were above and beyond my expectations!! Amazing place! I highly recommend Mindy and Sit Means Sit!
I rescued my dog Jazz from a shelter and he’s had anxiety and trust issues from his previous situation. I did my best to try to get him acclimated to other people and dogs but he’s been a timid, anxious, and nervous dog since I’ve had him. Fast forward to his consult with Mindy and she assured us that once he got through his training, he will be a new dog. We had 6 one on one sessions and was recommended to have Jazz in a muzzle. The first session, we brought him in with the muzzle on, he soaked in much of the training but was still pretty closed off to the trainers. Second session, we brought him back in, muzzle on, he was opening up to the trainers even more. The third session, we brought him in, muzzle on, trainers said that they took off his muzzle and were able to have him around them and other dogs. The last 3 sessions, we took him in without his muzzle on and he did amazing! He was so receptive to their training and even did well on their field trips! He’s finished with his one on one sessions and we are proud to say that Jazz is definitely a new dog!!! Everyone at Sit Means Sit are amazing! Thank you to Mindy, Emily, and Rebecca for being patient and working with Jazz! Highly recommend them for training!
