Palak was wonderful. She distracted me in a good cheerful way. She was very informative and explained answers to my questions nicely. There was no rush. The spa was easy to find and get to by ttc. They also have the brand Routine for products which are so lovely. Overall a positive experience 💖

By far, the worst experience I have ever had. I scheduled an appointment for this morning, the lady told me I could come slightly past 9:10 AM because I have a Spa appointment at 10:15 around the corner and then a family photo shoot for Christmas in the afternoon. I spoke to the receptionist at 9:12 AM and let her know I was about three minutes away, keeping in mind that I was told I could come slightly after 9:10 AM and they would make it work. I arrived and they had switched my appointment with the person ahead of me without talking to me or calling me to let me know. This meant that I missed out on spending more time with my infant child at home because I drove here to make this appointment from Etobicoke, not to mention they had me on the phone when this other client arrived and gave her my slot without talking to me. I don’t know what kind of business this is, but that is the most unprofessional outrageous thing I have ever witnessed as a customer anywhere. Not to mention when I said how That was not acceptable, she tried to find a bunch of excuses as to why she did it. Including thinking that she was giving me more time, even though she didn’t ask me, and then try to make an excuse of the one page form that you have to fill out, saying that I wouldn’t have been able to make my slot. Keeping in mind that she had already said that if anything I could’ve at least had my eyebrows done but now I have absolutely nothing done for my weekend. Would honestly avoid this place just offer customer service alone, horrible horrible horrible experience beyond disappointed. Update: the owners response ignores the fact that I was told I could come slightly past 9:10 because of my son’s schedule. It also ignores the fact that they didn’t contact me to tell me they gave my time slot away in the three minutes between 9:12 am and 9:15 am all the while knowing that I was on my way and approximately three minutes out. Poor customer service and poor response from the owner putting blame on the customer and not her employees lack of customer service skills.

Palak was on time, professional, quick to complete the service and educated me on post service care. I liked how she did a thorough consultation with me before beginning the service. I look forward to returning and booking with her

I have been going to Smooth for years now, since I moved into the area. It’s clean and they never double dip! I really like the membership and packages they offer, great value if you are a regular. Ashley is who I see a she is beyond amazing! So good and just a great person overall who makes the experience easier. Highly recommend!

I visited Smooth Wax Bar for the first time yesterday and couldn’t be happier with the results. I was honestly a bit nervous going in but Ashley was an absolute gem! She was kind, understanding, and made me feel completely at ease by walking me through every step of the process. She was also very accommodating with my last-minute requests. Fast, efficient, and incredibly skilled Ashley delivered amazing results! I’m so glad I found this place; it’s officially my go-to wax bar in Toronto. Highly recommend!
