Had a pretzel bun double smash cheeseburger, wife had a cheeseburger as well, we both had fries and drink, and we split a peanut butter shake. The pretzel bun smash burger was excellent. The shake tipped it all off. I originally asked for a cheesecake shake but it didn't taste right so they switched it out without question. I'd go again.

Please advise your El Cajon location on proper food holding techniques. I could tell my chili cheese coney wasn't held correctly due to the outside dingey color. Luckily there was enough chili cheese to make it taste ok. The Jr patties were too dry on my Jr double. Someone clearly cooked them too long. Also it has been a while since I had visited a Sonic Drive-In, but whose bright idea was it to only put 1 peice of cheese on a double cheeseburger? Seems like your standards have dropped in order to increase profits. I did not speak to someone at the store level as this seems to be a higher up issue. Hope this franchise can get it together. Speed of service and temperature of food were good.

Haven't been to Sonic in a while, ended up getting a double sonic smash burger and the cheesy bacon supersonic stack. I personally liked the smash burger better, even though I like Texas toast. For dessert I got the Oreo and peanut butter milkshake. Freaking delicious! If you're looking for a burger place with good dessert options, try out sonic.

Order food from your car and the employee will bring it to you. We took our food home, (7 minute drive), but it was already lukewarm when we got there. Not impressive, not bad neither.

I decided on Sonic for dinner. The double cheeseburger was dry, and meet was well done. The all-american dog was okay. The mozzarella sticks were delicious. It took about 15 minutes to get my food when there was only one car ahead of me. The customer service could be better by apologizing about the wait and to smile. Wendy's restaurant is next door. That's a better choice.
