My family has been coming to South St Paul Animal Hospital since the early ‘90s, way back when Dr. Dave’s dad was the owner. Dr. Dave is seriously the best vet around—he knows animals like no one else! I always feel like he’s trying to save me money, instead of just charging a ton like some other places. I’m definitely sticking with them forever, and I’m making sure that my daughter does the same as well!

I took my rat in to get an exam for a possible abscess and the vet showed concern. Hospital was very clean and I would go there regularly.

We went to SSP Animal Hospital today for the first time with our 4 pet rats who were showing symptoms of having mites and saw Dr. Dave. He was great, had us in and out in 10min. He charges a very reasonable exam fee and was able to treat our entire group of rats at once instead of charging us Individual exam fees like other vets. We will be switching to him as our primary vet for the future!

Thank you Dr. and the team. They have done a wonderful job cleaning and extracting 4 teeth. I have been bring my pets here since 2019. They are one of the top places to get your pets vaccinated and or check ups and dental. See you soon to update our vaccinations.

Dr. Dave and his staff are amazing. They make it easy to get an appointment, provide excellent care and provide a fair price. Dr. Dave has helped in the middle of the night twice with emergencies over the phone. What more could you ask for? I just got a 2nd dog and I'll be bringing her to meet Dr. Dave real soon.
