SR&R replaced our roof summer of 2019. A few weeks ago, from this review date, we had a gust of wind from a storm front that took 5 shingles off our ridgeline vent area at the very top of essentially a 3-story home from ground level. Edwin and his co-worker (sorry forgot name; really nice though) came out for initial assessment advising they escalate and get someone out with a drone to make sure further damage didn't occur. Mike came out and looked at it with his drone and determined it was just the shingles that came off and no further damage. And though we were out of warranty, Mike replaced it without cost. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for Mike and the team in not only coming out to inspect but replace the shingles simply to take care of our home and need. It goes without saying that Southern Roofing & Renovations is an absolutely stand-up company with a phenomenal team of employees engaged and empowered to make the right decisions. As long as SR&R is around, they will continue to be referred by me to everyone I know. Sorry I don't have photos of the repair...I'm not getting up there! 🙂

This company saved the day for me! And possibly a lot of money. Justin showed me places on my roof that I had no idea were damaged by a storm. He helped me with my insurance and all the scary stuff that was honestly giving me a panic attack. I didn't know my rates won't go up because TN considers this an act of God. Super glad Angel stopped by to check on me after the storm. Will recommend this company to anyone that I know that needs a roof, gutters or siding.

When those guys sales people knock in your door trying to earn your business please shut off your door in their face. Here’s what happened On march 2025 they came to my house saying that my roof needs to be replaced and they will work with my insurance company to get it approved and get it all done without me worrying about anything. We started the process and everything was struggling since the beginning always hard to reach any one from that team . First insurance denied it because they weren’t using proper tool to do repairs test and they damaged those shingles and off course my HOA fines me twice about it, I tried over and over with them to do something about but they didn’t, I fought by myself with insurance company to send another adjuster out and finally I got it approved to full replacement on end of September . I was told they will build up my roof very quickly because of all of that wait time but instead of doing so it took them a month to send someone out to pick up which shingles we want and after that I was told my material will be delivered to my house on November 12 but it hadn’t arrived. I called they said it was a delay because it is special order so my build up date will be on November 19 instead . decided to wait but guess what they didn’t show up , so I called for them to lie again saying that they waiting for permit and they will get it done on December first. Guess what it is December 4 and I am still waiting. Mathew, angel, Eric,Ramsey they are all liars don’t believe them and never give these people your project I want to mention that it is the first time for me to give a bad review to anyone

Southern Roofing and Renovations (SRR) broke the law and stole my money. SRR broke the law by illegally depositing my $64k insurance check for damage repairs into their bank account without approval or endorsement from my mortgage company, who was designated as a payee on the check and required by law to endorse. This action prevented my mortgage company from maintaining oversight of repairs and metering funds only when repairs were complete and inspected by a 3rd party. 100 year oak tree smashed my house. Someone on my street recommended SRR. SRR said they were also a "contractor". SRR installed a faulty roof on my home (which leaks) and omitted all soffit and whirly bird venting that previously existed. They also used ridge shingle materials below the standard required by my insurance company. Over a year later, the roof had not been fixed and no other home repairs had been completed. Upon requesting to terminate the contract, which stated a max termination penalty of 2k, SRR pocketed egregious profits 20-30% higher than they quoted my insurance and approximately 10k in personal "commissions" for several employees. The owner of SRR was given multiple chances to make this right, but chose not to take action. Proof that SRR committed fraud is attached. On the front of the check, you will see the 3 payees listed: myself, SRR, and my mortgage company. On the back, you will notice there is only endorsement from myself and SRR - TWICE, but not my mortgage company. This is wire fraud. Beware.
