I can only find our dogs food here. Otherwise have to order through chewy. And its delivery sign up..I can never keep my dogs on a schedule like that.. thank God for Southside Aquatics..
UPDATE 3/14/2024 PLEASE SEE UPDATED PHOTO AT THE END with % Increase to our purchases. Southside Aquatics is NOW Charging US, the Customers an additional 3.95% for ALL DEBIT and CREDIT CARD purchases. So unless you want to pay 11% on top of your purchases that's the Tax you are charged already and the 3.95% for using DEBIT or Credit cards, I suggest you take cash. But then again, you more have to debate if you want to be charged $2.00 to withdraw from the ATM or pay 11% for your purchase. Due to this CHANGE and WE the customers having to pay Extra my Review is deducting 2 Stars from my Review. • Old Review Below 1/2023 In the Heart of the Southside with a variety of items for your 4 legged fur-children, birds, fish, rabbits, mice, hamsters, cats, lizards or iguanas. Everything is reasonably priced and affordable. They also carry monthly flea and tick medication along with heart guard and dewormer in one pill. It's a money saver, saving one money, not having to pay an OV for a Vet. As always, if your pet requires medical attention and proper diagnosis please schedule with your vet. But for your basic needs, buying monthly prevention medication, does save you money. They also carry products for your lawn care needs to treat against flea and ticks. If you're looking for an affordable place and you're on the Southside I'd recommend this location to you. One final note this location is ❗❗❗CLOSED ON MONDAYS ONLY!!! ❗❗❗ And CLOSES AT 4PM on SUNDAY!!
I go to south side aquatics to get feeders for my pets and fish to stock my small koi pond. My kids really enjoy going to see the different animals they have in there and pick out a snack or a toy for our dogs. They have pretty much anything you'll need to care for your pets. They seem much more stocked up than the big box stores and they have better prices. I've been shopping here for years and will continue to buy pet food and supplies from here.
Always helpful and happy. I love going here because the owner is always really great with myself and my kids. Even though they (my kids) make me spend more money than I'd like.🙄🙄🙄 Update: 9/7/22 Still my favorite little pet shop came in to grab a cuttings of koi fish. The lady in there this morning was super nice while i wandered around aimlessly taking pictures and looking at pets. Definitely the best little spot on the south side. Not only with pets but prices too.❤️
