John is wonderful with our dogs. We can go out of town without a worry knowing they are receiving the best care! We have tried other places and they don’t compare. This is the only place we will take our dogs.

I was so pleased to find Specialized Pet Services! This is in a private home with a fenced backyard in a quiet midtown neighborhood. For my high energy 2-year old boxer, who wants to be with me every minute of the day, it is a perfect place for him when I need to be ‘dogless.’ He is very comfortable there for both day care and overnights. When we arrive, John greets us with a smile and a warm welcome. As they head inside, I watch my pup’s tail wiggle happily - a sure sign of a great place.

Absolutely Hands Down, the Best Dog Care in Omaha! We can’t say enough great things about Specialized Pet Services and the owner, John! From the very first interaction, John was so easy to work with—professional, kind, and clearly passionate about animals. His rates are very affordable, especially considering the level of personalized care our dogs receive. We recently took a long trip and felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs in John’s care. When we picked them up, they were happy, clean, and clearly well loved—a total 180 from our past experiences with big chain facilities where our dogs would come home stressed, stinky, and off their routine for days. At John’s place, the dogs have an amazing area to play, exercise, and get plenty of fresh air. They even get to safely socialize with John’s own dogs, who are just as friendly and well cared for. Everything is spotless, secure, and thoughtfully managed, giving us complete peace of mind every time we leave them there. We truly won’t use anyone but John for boarding ever again. He’s the best-kept secret in Omaha pet care—and we’re so grateful to have found him! Hazel and Sadie are pretty happy about it as well!

John does an excellent job taking care of our 13 year old Chihuahua Pepper! His home is clean and well taken care of and his care for Pepper is astounding. We don't worry about our fur baby when we are out of town, we know he is in great hands.

We love Specialized Pet Services dog boarding services. We have used their services for years. We were nervous leaving our new 9 year old rescue dog for the first time. He spent two half days at SPS to acclimate and see how he would react with new dogs. All went well so we boarded him for 10 days. He did great!
