He’s very responsive, adapts training plans to your work/life/travel schedule and he’s patient and friendly in person! My HS age son also trains with him and Steve’s great with young athletes too!
Steve Paul is not only an exceptional trainer but a kind, funny, and good man as well. He truly cares about his clients and caters your workouts and nutritional coaching to you individually every day/week. He has a vast wealth of knowledge about how the human body works and pulls from that to build workouts that are always varied to keep things interesting and above all, effective. His individual training sessions are a fantastic value for the money and his approach to coaching is highly motivating without him being a drill sergeant like some trainers can be. I would recommend Steve to anyone regardless of if they’re brand new to working out (as I was), a lifelong athlete, or even getting back to the gym after an injury. He’s truly excellent at what he does and his nonjudgmental attitude and great personality makes the gym a place you’ll find yourself missing when you can’t make it.
I’ve been working with Steve on my nutrition goals for a year now and have made MAJOR positive (and honestly, unbelievable) changes to my body composition - results I have not been able to achieve on my own in a decade!! Steve has been amazing for the past several months that I’ve been working with him. I’ve always been pretty good at making the time to workout but when I found out I was expecting I decided to look for a trainer and am so happy to have found Steve. His workouts are fun and he really takes the time to make sure I’ve got good form even when I’m not training in person. He makes sure to adjust workouts to make room for an expanding belly though I’m not a huge as I thought I’d be at almost 7 months of pregnancy entirely due to his training. Steve is one of the best at what he does!
Our 14 year old and his teammates have been training with Steve to build strength for baseball. At first, we thought our son might be too young for strength training. But we quickly saw that Steve’s main focus is on form and safety. Our son knows that he is not allowed to do any of the exercises on his own if he can’t do them with correct form. Under Steve’s guidance, our son has seen a significant improvement in strength and looks forward to his weekly workout sessions. Steve is fun, encouraging and caring. Right away, our son said Steve is one of the best coaches that he’s ever had.
