Steve’s is the best place I know of to pick up beer, wine, etc. I have gotten crowd-pleasing wine recommendations, they have an excellent selection, and the people there are always friendly and willing to help to carry things for you if you make too many impulse purchases ;)

Steve’s is a fine, long time Madison establishment - always finding new experiences in drinking. Newest find - but apparently available since 2021 - Steve’s Crowlers : pre-mixed cocktails of many varieties. Latest tasting “The Aviation” - very nicely done. Addendum: Mezcal margarita is more smoky than most I’ve had - in a good way! Crowlers batting %100

Steve's is one of my all time places to come to get alcohol! I truly believe that this store is a Madison staple. They have a vast selection of wines, and they also have a healthy selection of champagne/bubbly wine. I adore the fact they have a whole wall dedicated to tequila, which is my preferred hard alcohol. Steve's also has Sake! It's so hard to find sake at liquor stores. The people working here are amazing and nice!

Recommended! This is a great liquor store with an excellent collection. One of the reasons I like going here is because they have nice little placards that tell you about the wines. They're informative, and the owners tend to highlight wines that are good buys or interesting finds.
