Forgot to leave a review last year when my husband had his suit altered for our wedding. Would highly recommend. Professional, quick and friendly.

I cannot recommend this store any higher - I’d give it a 10 star review if I could. They were able to tailor a satin suit for me on short notice and honestly, it has been done so incredibly well on such a delicate fabric, you would not even know it had been touched, yet, I now have a beautiful suit that is tailored to me. Thank you so much, fantastic craftsmanship & very reasonably priced.

My wife and I regular customers of Martin, done at least a dozen clothing and other items. He is super friendly and the quality of alterations and repairements are at the top level. I had my favourite raincoat ripped and was surprised that Martin could restore it like new.

My beautiful leather jacket got trapped in the x-ray machine at Edinburgh Airport. They did significant damage getting it out and accepted no responsibility (I know, that's another story). I researched and was impressed with the reviews for Stitch & Repair, so I popped along. The guy was very honest with me. The leather had been ripped, so it was impossible to do an invisible repair. He would do the very best he could, but he couldn't guarantee the results. I had no other option. The jacket was a write-off in that condition. Oh my goodness, I was quite overwhelmed when I collected my jacket. The quality of the repair exceeded my expectations. It looks like a wee scratch on the leather. Part of the leather panel holding the buttons has also been replaced on the inside, so the area is reinforced. I can now look forward to many years' wear. Thank you again for your expertise.
