Lys is truly a master at their craft, and an amazing human being! I get compliments on their cuts constantly, and they always grow out beautifully. Their passion for hair and dedication to honing their craft really shows! The salon itself is beautiful and full of great energy. Highly suggest treating yourself to some one-on-one time with Lys and let them give you an absolutely amazing cut!! Thank you Lys!! I haven't felt this much like myself in a long time!!

First of all, this place is gleaming with positive vibes! The whole place has that zen, happy, bright positive energy! As soon as you walk in, you can feel it and it puts you on a really good mood, much needed before a haircut! Ifyyk. So I booked with Breezy because of all the great reviews she has. I wanted a wolf cut which to me is a complete 180 from my previous 30 years of haircuts. I’ve always had a boring straight long hair, with straight cut, so I wanted something different for the new year. Breezy gave the best hair washing experience! I had a great time chatting with her too. It was especially so cool to watch her haircutting skills. My hair came out so so so good! She even took extra time to style it and taught me the best way to do it. I haven’t styled it myself after the cut because I didnt have to! All the waves and wisps she created stayed so beautiful even now. My hair looks like has so much volume now! I love everything about this experience ! Thank you Breezy!

Grace is my FOREVER stylist 🥰❤️‍🔥 I give her an idea (or vice versa) and I never even have to ask questions, it’s always just yes. I always have full trust in her to pull off her vision and make my hair look amazing. She is truly such a pleasure to spend time in the chair with and I love her so much! So glad she’s at Strange Bird now I am such a big fan of this salon!!

OMG! This new location is heaven! I get my hair cut by Kascidy and always leave feeling sexy and relaxed AF. Kascidy (@funkeecuts) specializes in shags and…well, funkee cuts. I’m not so funkee with my haircut and she is the type of stylist that makes my basic layered cut (that I don’t want to take length off of) look SO COOL with all of her secret sorceress tricks for face framing etc etc. She is an instructor at the salon and teaches workshops, so you know she knows. The space itself is divine, a relaxing separate hair washing room that has a different vibe from the rest of the space is a luxurious cherry on top. Honestly, bring a coffee and a book and get to your appointment early so you can hang out in one of the various epic seating areas they have 😍😍😍

Second time getting a haircut with Kasey!! Always such a chill experience. And the salon is super cute and has lots of natural light! Love that there’s no smell of chemicals at this salon. I’ve felt super pampered with Kasey. Highly recommend!! There’s an entire parking lot next door where you can pay to park and also plenty of free street parking. And my fave coffee in Austin happens to be next door!!
