Had the winter break special for 30 days. Was told we could renew it over the phone for the same price. Went in person and was told that was incorrect. Chauncey was awesome and resolved it for us and was super nice about it. On top of this great experience, the gym is awesome and has a large amount of really nice machines, basically never have to wait on anything, and is well maintained. 10/10 experience here at strength and body.

Outstanding gym! People are focused on simply working out without an attitude. Everyone is helpful if you need anything. Rooms are filled with all types of machines, free weights, and workout areas. The trainers, in particular, are fantastic - highly knowledgeable, flexible, and supportive. All in all, a great gym.

I originally joined Strength & Body on Market Street because I saw a social media post celebrating that they had added StairMasters due to popular demand. The energy around the cardio area was amazing! People were motivated, and it felt like the gym was really responding to what members wanted. But lately, that vibe has completely changed. They moved all the cardio equipment into the old pro shop, which is a small, enclosed space with walls on both sides. It feels cramped, hot, and like an afterthought. The message it sends is pretty clear: not only are they not expanding the cardio area, but they don’t really value the people who use it. It’s disappointing, because the original setup had great energy and potential. Hopefully they reconsider the layout and bring back that open, motivating atmosphere that made people excited to come here in the first place. I’m looking forward to the new Crunch Fitness opening off Market Street on 11/1. Hopefully it brings back some much-needed high-energy cardio vibes to Greensboro.

WOW! This is what every gym aspires to be. Was in town for an OCB Bodybuilding competition and needed a place for a quick pump. Been lifting for 40 yrs and this place had equipped I’ve never seen. Staff was awesome. Other folks working out were friendly and really nice. I wish it wasn’t 5 hrs away or this would be my daily… I’ve spent my life traveling and there’s nothing better - and yes I’m a member of a Lifetime Fitness Onyx. I could spend hours playing in here. GO!! Sign up and appreciate this place. You’ll never beat it.
