The best dance studio in Toronto! They have three locations (One in Toronto, one in Burnaby, and one in Vancouver), and this one seems to be the largest. The studio itself has nice ambience and lighting, and plenty of seats. There also is a newly installed water fountain. The quality of instructors (and front desk staff) is top-notch, every person who teaches at any SN location is incredibly professional, skilled, and welcoming. The other students in the class are also always very friendly and supportive as well, so it is a great environment for both beginner and advanced dancers. It may look intimidating online but the environment is not like that at all! The management team has also been very helpful and friendly when I email them. Also, at the end of many classes you have the option of being filmed, and they will upload the videos so you can watch yourself and download the videos too. They have descriptions of class levels on their website. Since I first started coming here, they have also really expanded the range of levels they are offering, from Intro classes for those with no experience, to Advanced classes.

Studio North is my dance home. I absolutely love this place and the people who pour their soul in it. Most of the teachers have been there for a long time – and this kind of consistency is rare in the dance world. It really gives you an opportunity to learn, grow and build relationships with people who come there every week. The school also often invites big industry names to teach and gives the floor to young choreographers, which is absolutely amazing. If you want to explore dance and fall in love with it, this is THE place.
