I wish everyone can experience the peace, calmness, deep connection and mindfulness that Cassandra awakes in her Yin class. This class taps into deeper feelings, the ones you feel will never detach. Her expertise, her voice, essence and authenticity drives you to a deep consciousness of mind, body, and soul. SHE IS THE BEST!

The studio is beautiful and Morgan is a great teacher. Would have appreciated more attention to being guided and corrected. It is very warm in the studio. There are also no mirrors so no way to check alignment or work on alignment. Some classes taught by other teachers are labeled beginner but have no focus on learning or building fundamentals correctly. There was a new learner grabbing the edges of his mat in downward dog and the instructor did not take the time to teach, to correct for his safety and full benefit. Some poses were very advanced and not appropriate for a “beginner class”.

Before I found Surya yoga, my yoga practice was one dimensional and limited. I’ve grown so much in this welcoming, dynamic community and feel very comfortable in my own body and my practice. I’m surprised myself with all the new movements, and poses that I’ve learned rapidly in the past couple of years. More importantly, it’s definitely escape from my day-to-day life and helps me practice mindfulness, but becoming more in tuned with the capabilities of my body. Definitely check it out. You won’t be disappointed!!! 🧘🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️

I wandered in for Advanced Yoga on my last day in town. I was so pleasantly surprised by this El Paso gem. Morgan, the owner and incredible yogi/teacher, was fantastic and warm. The whole group was so welcoming and it was obvious they spend every Monday together working very advanced poses, hand balance, arm balances, and deep backbends. I recommend this studio highly- such a great group!
