We are from out of town and were recommended to come to Tacos 86 because we wanted authentic Mexican food. The line was long but moved fast and our tacos came out quickly. We (my husband, 5 year old and I) got 4 birria tacos, 2 chicken, 2 al pastor, and 2 steak. I can honestly say these were the best tacos we have ever had. My 5 year old got a churro as well and it was so insanely good. You also had to try the picked red onions! YUM! We ended up getting a mango agua fresca after our tacos and again… insanely good. One of the employees came out and talked to us about the truck and their business and he was so kind. I highly recommend Tacos 86! We will be going back before we leave AZ.

We have been coming here for about 2 to 3 years and have yet to have a bad experience. They have consistently exceeded our expectations and we just could not say enough good things about them. Their customer service is the best around this area, giving free churros, champurrado, and always delivering with a smile. To watch them grow and slowly attract new customers is so pleasing to see considering when we first started coming we'd be the only ones eating to now having 15 to 20 people waiting for their food, and rightfully so. I think if you want very reasonably priced top tier mexican food this is the place to come in the san tan area.

I reached out on their website to cater food for my baby shower, but I never got any form of response. The minimum people required to cater is 60 and meals range from $11-$16 per person. I felt like the price was reasonable, but the headcount not so much. My party would have included 30 people x $16 per plate= $480 for one hour of their time. I’m in the same area they serve so I didn’t think those factors would have been an issue, but it would’ve been nice to have some form of response, decline, or conversation. Not only was I ghosted via online form, but when I tried to call their phone number, I was never able to reach anyone. I’ve heard their food is delicious, but I’m pretty disappointed about their customer service.
