Good, friendly vibes and knowledgeable staff. I'm working out more efficiently and getting better results since joining Tailwind Fitness. The class sizes are small, and you get all the benefits of working out with a very skilled personal trainer without the expense. The trainers at Tailwind are experts on the latest research on exercise, especially when it comes to dealing with injuries and preventing injuries.
Tailwind Fitness has been tremendous. The classes are small, and the staff personalizes the classes to your needs and physical condition. The staff knows any physical issues so that you do not hurt yourself. They tailor your workouts to your needs. Tailwind draws a clientele that makes the environment friendly and social in a good way.
Tailwind is great! The classes are well done, the staff is friendly and supportive, and the facility is nice. Also, sometimes there are dogs, which is always a bonus. Update: Since I've posted this last, I've continued to workout at Tailwind, including doing a bunch of personal training sessions. I'm in the best shape I've been in since my early 20s and it's because of the personal and small group coaching, the trainers being so helpful, and the community being one I want to be part of whenever I have time. It's great place, and frankly, the best value in a gym I've found in Spokane. If you're on the fence, just come out and try. They do a free week for new folks, I think. When I started at Tailwind a year and a half ago, I was really out of gym practice/shape. I have lost weight, but more importantly, I have gotten SO much stronger because of hitting up group fitness classes consistently and the support of the coaches who offer knowledgable, individualized advice. (They will tailor whatever is happening in class to individual needs (so when my neck got a little janky, I was able to tell the coaches and avoid exercises that added to the jankiness and do exercises that helped with the jankiness).) Also, there is NO weird gym culture here. People just like working out and are friendly, not competitive. It's extremely comfortable and we like new people.
Tailwind has a great variety of classes, excellent instructors, and a very convenient location. I would recommend Tailwind to anyone who likes fitness classes and a great group of people!
