Me and my husband are BIG on sushi. We just moved to the area and were wanting to try this restaurant since it is literally 3 minutes away from us in hopes that it can be are new go to place since we no longer live near Mulan (located in Lakeworth). What can I say besides we were disappointed. On first entering we noticed that they have a separate section where they do a revolving sushi conveyor belt but we decided to try the actually restaurant side first by ordering off the regular menu. We ordered the appetizers, gyoza and crab rations, which was just meh. Gyoza has no real flavor to be honest unlike other sushi places where this dish is BURSTING with juices/flavor while the crab ragoons had a cold center. My husband ordered the crab meat roll and the lava roll whereas I ordered the hibachi steak that came with a miso soup and side salad. The crab roll had this unappealing white sauce that threw off the crab flavor due to being way too sweet. The lava roll was wrapped in aluminum foil which gives the impression that it’s a baked roll however it was not. It was just cold slop thrown together in what appears to be a sushi lasagna which was not worth a bite. My miso soup came out lukewarm and tasted like a watered down version. And the worst dish had to be the steak hibachi. The steak itself was cold and had a sweet taste to it which is not usual at least compared to all the hibachi sushi places we frequent. The mushrooms and broccoli weren’t cooked fully either. The side salad wasn’t too bad. Overall, we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat this food much less put it into to go boxes just to throw away later. We were honest to our server who just offered us a free dessert but we declined because if the main dishes aren’t good the dessert is not gonna be any better. Not wanting to waste anymore of our dinner time we just paid the 60$ bill despite not really eating and just drove the 25 mins to get much better sushi/hibachi that cost us less and actually was satisfying. Maybe it was an off night seeing as they had a lot of customers. There has to be something good if they are still able to maintain customers and a decent rating but unfortunately we did not have that experience.
This place is truly amazing. My family came here on a whim not knowing what to expect and it did not disappoint. The staff are so kind, constantly having a smile and helping me know what's on the menu. They were such sweethearts and checked up on us throughout the evening. The food was phenomenal. It definitely felt fresh and made with love. The decor was so cute. Ive tasted some new things here and some timeless classics. Instead of fortune cookies they give those yukult probiotic drinks and it's amazing. A true childhood classic. If you like sushi this place is 100% for you. Definitely plan to go again and maybe drag my friends along with me.
I had their revolving sushi bar. All the fish I had was fresh and delicious. The pieces were good size and price was fair. I loved their variety the most
AYCE, Halloween 2025 - got a special plushie gift! Service was the best I’ve had out of any restaurants this year. Every server did their best and they even gifted us home made cookies! The food was overall better than anything buffet around the area, but one particular food was subpar. Some that were good are salmon, shoyu ramen, and the mocchi (was so tasty!). The thing that really ruined my experience was the tuna. Both the peppered and raw ones were stale and dry, which caused them to have rubber like textures. Other seafoods overall were also fresh, but had this seawater (sea salt) like taste that are often removed in Japanese cuisine. Overall, food was great and service was excellent.
We went back for the second time but unfortunately the food and preparation suddenly changed. This is the only sushi all you can eat that you wouldn’t enjoy it if they handled the costumer with care. The rice is bigger and you can’t afford to order again. We don’t recommend this sushi place because the taste wasn’t good at all and they served uncooked crab Rangoon. The rename isn’t fresh at all. It’s dinner time and now we understand why it looks empty. The server is kind but the food isn’t a place to be recommended.
