June 2023: Our pups first sleepover went great 😊 I was very anxious, but Paula put me straight at ease and Millie too. Great set up, very professional and friendly. Paula responded to my many messages and we recieved some lovely pics of her playing with the other dogs. She had a fantastic time and made some new friends. I feel so much more at ease for her many future stays there and feel relieved to have found this great place for the pooches 🐶 Thank you so much 😊 Edit: Dec 2025- Millie has has multiple stays and loves her stays at Talbot's. Paula and her team are absolutely incredible with her. We can't thank her enough for having such a great place for our girl ❤️
We were apprehensive about leaving our two border collies in kennels for the first time, but we needn’t have been — Paula and her team were fabulous. I really liked that they were carefully socialised and got plenty of playtime during their stay. They came home happy (and I think one would’ve preferred to stay!) and it was great to see occasional updates too. Paula was responsive while we were away, and also took the time to talk me through things ahead of time. She clearly really cares for all the dogs she looks after. Thank you so much Paula! x
Really positive experience using the kennels. It was the first time we’ve left our dogs and we felt so at ease. Paula is lovely with the dogs and you can see how much they love her! My three would have happily stayed longer, they didn’t want to come home! The dogs were socialised and exercised regularly and pictures were posted on social media which was so nice to see while we were away. Paula replied to my messages straight away when I wanted to check how they were doing. I’d 100% recommend and would love to use the kennels again in future. Thank you Paula and the team!
Absolutely fantastic kennels. This is a sociable kennels so your dog will be exercised every day. We've tried many kennels in the area before finding Talbot and we feel so comfortable leaving our doggies here. Other kennel owners feel very distant when discussing our dogs but Paula and Millie are so connected with them it's fantastic. They're also lovely people and the kennel is in a beautiful settings on the Moss. We sometimes go on month long holidays and we get constant updates, photos and videos from the Talbot team which is a great touch and puts our mind at ease. Best kennels in the area!
Highly recommend these kennels. I have an elderly pug and a young boxer who both enjoy their stay here. I like that they are let out to play with other dogs at least twice a day which I feel is important to the dogs mental health. They are always happy when dropped off and when they are collected. Paula and her staff are friendly and helpful.
