It's a great place!! Definitely needs the city of Oakland to give it some extra love, by upgrading this center. Youth from the 80's & near by can knows by growing up with beautiful healthy things where they live! We dont have that on a day to day, we can't normalize beautiful things, it can be great where we are from too. Love the staff..
My family and I moved here about 6 years ago from the lion Creek crossing apartments that is a few blocks away. My mom realized that was the WORSE MISTAKE EVER!. The apartment is great BUT MARGARET! the property manager is HORRIBLE!! always has an attitude with tenants, and when you need to fix anything in your apartment, you have to tell her at least 20 times before she let's the maintenance know. Security sucks so bad. They'll be there while your car gets broken into, and they always towing tenants cars like it's fun. Don't move here if you want a peaceful living. The property manager don't let you do anything around ur own apartment. Can't hang a towel outside, can't hand wash ur car next to ur own apartment. She knocks at doors early morning telling you not to do this or that. Ugh just a PAIN in the u know what. we can't WAIT to move!!
1 of the many open gyms in East Oakland Tassaforanga Located on 85th about a quater mile from san leandro blvd Tassa has always kept its doors open to the youth of the community offering not only basketball courts but it also has a nice park for the little ones
