How dumb to intall so many checkout stations and only work 2-3 at a time.. such a waste of money. Texas Thrift is ridiculous, some items cost more than the regular store- .99 mini glue sticks for $1.49 very dumb..
Beware of Texas Thrift. They will sell you a moldy product and not give a refund. I understand that they didn’t know the product had mold until you would have opened the package. Mold is a health hazard and they will gladly just steal your money instead of offering a refund. Their No Refund policy is not valid under this claim and they still refuse to refund me. I will be contacting the proper people to report this health hazard. I had immediately went back in the store because we opened the package in the parking lot. I spoke to Barbara who was absolutely rude about it and didn’t want speak to me because she was going to “lunch”. What a terrible supervisor. Spoke to another Supervisor today on the phone whose name is Laura and she also still refused to refund my money. Under state law I am covered under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. I’ll be contacting the Attorney Generals office as well.
Are you thrifty like me and enjoy finding interesting items such as collectables or just enjoy browsing. This location is huge with so many items to choose from. If you haven’t shop at a thrifty store before I suggest checking out this location. You’ll enjoy the diversity in the store. This location already have: 🥶 Seasonal winter items such as boots. 🎃👻 Halloween - Galore, costumes. Women’s, Men’s, Children’s Apparel. Accessories. Household items. You name it! (Not a lot of furniture though.) I do have to say I did find a few over priced items but overall decent and affordable prices. Not to mention 3 daily different color codes discounted at a percent. 25%50%75% Also, I Met a few Nice individuals shopping and “Striking A Pose” for the camera! Don’t waste your time here. This store is not a bargain anymore. The new owners have ruined everything that made it good. Now it feels like a regular, expensive store, not a thrift store. The prices are crazy. I saw old shoes for $42.99 and $26.99. You can almost buy new shoes for that price! Dress shirts were $32.99 and $26.99 — used! It’s a joke. They also added something called "assisted checkout." Don't be fooled. It’s just self-checkout with a worker helping for now — until they can get rid of the workers and make you do all the work yourself. This place used to be great. Now it’s ruined. Thanks to the new owners who got greedy and didn’t know how to leave a good thing alone.
With the new changes .. 0/10. Prices are out the …. There’s a bob marley shirt that’s prices at $1000.00 like Gtfoh. The toys are even higher. The clothes … don’t even bother . If you don’t get the color , or in love with the item …. LEAVE . It is ORGANIZED AND CLEAN, but do not waste your $$$
