I would highly recommend taking a yoga class with The Branches. I signed up for a yoga class in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy and had some difficulty with the class because of pregnancy troubles. Lisa and Wendy were incredibly kind, accommodating and understanding. Lisa is an amazing instructor whose presence in calming and reassuring. Thank you for an amazing experience. I will definitely be back for more classes!
As someone fairly novice to group fitness and yoga classes Branches has been a welcoming and well equipped space for me and my friends. The trial program allowed me to get a taste for the different programs, instructors and group sizes.
QSY is an absolute gem downtown! The instructors are supportive and encouraging (and Emma always makes you laugh). The studio is welcoming and inclusive. The drop-in classes can really be made as intense or as restorative as you need that day with modifications. I have been attending classes for about a year now and I am excited to come to my favourite drop-in class at the studio each week. The monthly 5 membership is a great way to stay engaged with your practice each week and allows you to try a new class outside of your comfort zone each month (maybe one day I will make it to Sunrise Practice!). I LOVE being part of this community! :)
