The Breakfast Bar on 4th and Redondo is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was just right – fun, energetic, and welcoming. Our server Sergio was fantastic – attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. And Johnny behind the bar? What a star! His creativity and knowledge really shine through in every drink. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it shows in the quality of the cocktails. The atmosphere here is something special. It’s got that perfect balance of laid-back Long Beach cool with just the right amount of energy to make brunch feel like an event. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just treating yourself to a great morning out, this is the spot. Can’t wait to come back and see what Johnny whips up next time. 10 Stars! We stopped by this place in between flights. The staff was amazing and fun. And we could not believe how good the food was. Seriously so good.

Would give this place 5 stars but they're kind of proud of their food. It's really good and the service was second to none. Just a bit pricey. The omelet casserole is a first for us and both my wife and I had it. Super customizable so you get what you want. I heard my wife bragging to a friend later about how good hers was. The potato pancakes were also super yummy. And it comes with a nice helping of super fresh fruit. We will definitely be back, but it won't likely be our regular breakfast stop due to the prices.

Been here twice now, and was able to sit at the same table and have Johnny as my waiter both times; always a pleasure🙌 Back in July '25 I had the Country Fried Chicken Breakfast and the potatoe pancake was not what I thought it would be, cake/breaded, but was quite nice in the potatoe texture and very tasty! Great forward to October '25 and changed it up and had the Breakfast burrito, and boy did this pack a lotta love in one easy to eat package🥰 Had the the wife's leftover Breakie Sammie and "WOW" is all I can say 🤯🥰🙏 A must try is the sausage links; tasty and not your typical small sized links... Lastly the coffee decaf is regular is top notch(Capistrano from Golden State Roasters here in Placentia California)

The Breakfast Bar is a causal breakfast and lunch spot popular amongst local. They’re located on The corner of Redondo ave. and E 4th street in Long Beach. I was greeted by a young female hostess and sat at the corner table by the window. Their menu has a breadth of food and drink items. Its interior decor was modern with an upbeat atmosphere. My adorable server, Trish, was assiduous and professional. For food, I ordered a Lemon Pancakes x scrambled eggs and avocado. And for drinks, I had coffee and oj. I liked my drink but not so much the food. However, my lemon pancakes were bloody dry and crumbled easily; eggs x avocado were good. Service was spot on. Staff were amazing. Prices were on the high end of its market value. Parking lot was unavailable but plenty of street parking. Overall, I think it a modest local breakfast spot.
