WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, and honestly THE BEST SERVICE WE'VE HAD SINCE COVID! Every staff member welcomed us and Ramon was the most friendly and helpful of all with menu recommendations, history, and even heard it was my birthday and brought us cheese bread as a birthday gift! Who does that??? 🤯 Reminded me of how service used to be and it was so very much appreciated, fits perfectly with the beautiful decor and incredibly delicious food, absolutely our new favorite restaurant, can't wait to try dinner! Thanks again Ramon and everyone on shift today, we will be back and I'm telling all our friends to try Ubuntu! 👍👍👍👍👍

Wonderful Sunday brunch at Ubuntu. It was surely happening on a sunny morning. You have to line up for food first and then it is brought to you at the table. Lots of space for al fresco dining and the vibe is relaxed but boisterous. I had a simple scrambled eggs and it was well seasoned and filling too. My friends and I chatted away and spent a wonderful late morning catching up. The cheese puffs were especially good.

This place has good reviews so was curious. It's expensive for a regular to mediocre omelet. The texture seemed a little too gooey. They make their own almond milk so their latte doesn't contain any added sugar at all, which is good. Good service. There's free parking at the restaurant. It seems popular and busy. People place order at the cash register and pick their own seating. No gluten free option. There's only one restroom. Pet friendly.

Ubuntu is my favorite eatery in Long Beach. I go there at least once a week—whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. Some people don’t realize how romantic and delicious dinner is at Ubuntu. Unlike ordering at the counter during the day, at night the friendly and enthusiastic servers provide service at the table. Thursdays and Fridays soft jazzy music or bossanova create a pleasant backdrop. Try the dinner burger, some of the pastas, or any of the delicious entrees. Leave room for the chocolate mousse or the extraordinary passion fruit mousse. BTW, there’s now a second location in beautiful San Juan Capistrano.

This place is wonderful! I really loved everything about it. The location, the vibe and menu were all solid! Our table started with great coffee & Cappuccinos and soon followed up with the Quiche, Short-Rib Chilaquiles and the Angry Fried Chicken Sando. I must say that ALL of these were a big hit! Sierra (a server) was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Thanks Sierra! If you're looking for something different with quality dishes and great ambiance, check this place out!
