Specifically a review related to the (beginner-ish) movement course which runs over 2 Mondays, as well as the place itself. Place is great, recommend, course though is outstanding. Aim to leave you with all the critical stuff so you can go and practice without needing someone watching, which is amazing value and a great start. Not too many people on it so you get close teaching and feedback. Special mention for Fish, course teacher/coach - sometimes on a short course you get an expert that does a bit of teaching, Fish though is an expert teacher/coach as well. Thats a really special thing and such good value for money for that. Loved. Recommend.
Our favourite Climbing place! We attend regularly. Needs to work on inclusion in general but specially disabled parking is not respected. They have 1 disabled parking bay which is frequently taking by customets with no Blue badge! Unfortunately Staff have stated they dont know how to address the problem. Hope they figure it out and improve they respect for all customers.
Love climbing here but during their designated quiet hours they were playing music id only enjoy if I was on 5grams of speed, could barely hear my own music through my headphones and felt like I was being blasted off the wall when I reached the top of one climb and came face to face with a speaker. Would be great if gym bro drum and bass could be saved for the busy periods and not when lil neurodivergent freaks like me crawl out of their dens to go climbing, cheers guys 🙏
I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been my preferred climbing gym because the climbs were fun and interesting problems to solve. But now it all feels completely sandbagged and bit boring. It’s starting to take the joy out of climbing when it feels like there are less climbs you can do, and there are less climbs to warm up on and get into it. Everything feels 1-2 grades harder, e.g a climb graded at 5+ is definitely more like a 6a or 6a+. Just don’t enjoy climbing here anymore.
I love this bouldering gym. Staff are very friendly (shoutout to the manager who helped us today when our padlock got jammed!) The changing and toilet facilities are excellent - they include individual changing cubicles, a communal changing area with lockers, unisex toilets and a shower. I find the problems here are my favourite of the gyms I visit - even at the lower grades there is lots of novelty and opportunity to learn new techniques. Other notes: Downstairs there is also a gym with weight equipment, stretching area, and training boards (including a tension board 2)

Bristol's premier bouldering gym where movement meets community.
