I am disappointed. I realize that Dell/Alienware computers are not easy to work on and some of the hardware designs are questionable at best. But if you did not want to do the job, you should have been upfront about that. Your long history of positive reviews suggests that you are better than this, so I don’t see why I got treated like this. I took my laptop here to get fixed in early December 2024 and was quoted about a week time-frame for the repair. Three weeks went by and I heard nothing back. I called sometime after the holidays to ask about the repair. The owner informed me that he "text messaged" my office line to tell me he needed parts, and when I inevitably did not respond, he "shelved" the project instead of calling me. I never consented to text messaging, and unsolicited "texting" is not an appropriate way for a business to communicate with its customers. In reading some of their prior reviews on here, apparently I am not the only person he did this to (see the review from Deanna Nicole). Nonetheless, I sent him the parts he needed, but this was to no avail. He last requested that I send him screws (which I later found I included in my laptop bag, but he must have not looked). At this point, I came to the conclusion he simply did not want to do the job. In hindsight, that should have been obvious with the “text messaging” excuse, but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Three months after dropping it off, I came and got it and took it somewhere else. My bag had cat paw prints on it and was very dirty. Clearly it had been sitting around for a while.

My computer was a simple fix replace battery something of course I can not do own my own. We discussed price and expectation when to expect it to be done. Texted me when it was done all went according to plan very happy with my the work done have 2 more to take in and they will both be going to the computer guy. Thank You Update took my second computer in and what I thought was wrong with it was not the issue but the pin inside the charge portal. Got computer back and has been running like a dream both computers have been running like a dream one more to go.... YES it will be going to The Computer Guy.... Thank YOU
