Humberto did a fantastic job on our dog Buddy Rue! He was so gentle and kind to Buddy. Buddy has had previous grooming trauma but he seemed to really like Humberto. We will definitely be back.

Our 19 weeks goldendoodle puppy got his first groom here today and it turned out wonderful! Our puppy is skittish and timid when it’s his first time doing something so I was slightly worried he would panic. But Humberto did an amazing job and was calm with our pup and everything went smoothly and even got to trim our pup’s nails. Oh, and our puppy smelled Amazing after. Chef’s kiss!

We took our Maltipoo to The Groom Shop PDX for a full groom. When we got her home she was completely shutdown and terrified. She did not want to move or go to the bathroom. We soon realized he had cut her anus during grooming. He also shaved a large chunk of fur off near her ear and cut through her skin. Both areas required days of medical attention. She had a full trauma response (shaking all the time and not wanting to be touched). There is no way he didn’t know he cut her. Complete negligence. Should never have happened and should not have had to figure it ourselves. He should have been accountable for his mistakes.

My dog is terrified at the groomer and then she gets very aggressive. We went to Albert for the first time and when I left, she bit him on the leg. But they went from that to doing almost a full groom without her doing anything else aggressive in the very first visit. He is very calm and understands just what he needed to do for her to start to build trust with him. I am so relieved and grateful to have found him.

I cannot say enough how happy I am to have met Albert and found The Groom Shop PDX. First, I want to say how amazed we are with Albert. He took the time to connect with our dog, Karti, and was so respectful of his space and boundaries. Karti is not a big fan of meeting new people, but Albert made it so easy for him to feel comfortable with him. I am very picky about who I let groom this sweet boy. I knew right away I could trust Albert with my Pomeranians double coat. He was knowledgeable about his coat and did the perfect groom for him. My dog has never looked this good! We watched most of his work and were so impressed with how calm my dog looked and just how comfortable he was being touched by someone he’d just met. By the end of their session my dog was zooming all up and down the shop and I could tell he felt so beautiful! Seriously, you need to bring your dogs here! You and your fur baby will be in the best of hands with Albert. He will actually listen to you and your dogs needs/preferences. You will not regret making The Groom Shop PDX your go to place to pamper your pup!
