⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I’ve had several personal training sessions with Hind Mounji at The Gym Group Cardiff Newport Road, and she is genuinely exceptional. She’s highly knowledgeable about training, technique, and building realistic goals. Hind is kind, supportive, and always tailors the sessions to individual needs. She’s honest about the process and progress. Her positive energy and motivation make every workout feel achievable. She brings professionalism, encouragement, and genuine care to every session. Highly recommended! The gym itself is good and has everything you need for a solid workout.

Well equipped gym but other facilities lacking. Changing room smells of stale piss. No hair dryer or sinks in changing area. Gym was full of an young young brats, not sure how they get in as you need to be 16+ yo us other facilities
Girly pop
I decided to cancel my previous gym membership, which included multi-gym access, after deciding to try this location instead of the central branch. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. After walking in the rain to reach the gym, I found that my access code did not work, despite having already added the venue to my app. I spent some time trying to get the attention of staff, but no one seemed to notice or offer assistance. This lack of support was particularly disappointing given that I had paid for access. The experience was both frustrating and embarrassing — and while I’m someone who generally feels confident in a gym environment, I can only imagine how discouraging it would be for a beginner. Overall, I was left feeling let down by the level of customer service and hope the gym takes steps to ensure this doesn’t happen to others.

Experimented with a few gyms in Cardiff now. This is probably my favourite. Pretty big space, plenty of machines, dumbbells and free weight space. Also out of the centre so it doesn’t get completely swarmed by students like many other places. Only improvement would be the addition of a sauna, but you can’t have it all. Overall a great place to train
