I am about to enter into my 3 year with Cardiff Pilates. To say that I love these classes is an understatement. I suffer from a debilitating disease that can be so challenging. Since starting Emma’s classes it has helped improve my physical and mental wellbeing no end. Emma is everything you hope for from a teacher, not only is she the best in her field, she’s patient understanding and most importantly of all, allows you to go at your own pace whilst giving you the best teaching skills. I've been attending Emma's mat classes for nearly 3 years and thoroughly enjoy them, having been a complete novice at the start. Emma is a great teacher showing warmth, empathy, knowledge and encouragement! Recently I've started weekly Reformer sessions at Emma's home studio and this works really well in conjunction with the mat classwork. I thought that the Reformer kit was for individuals with more Pilates experience than myself but I was wrong and I really enjoy the variety that it gives.
I have been attending Emma's general level mat class for 2 years and booked 1:1 sessions after hip surgery six months ago. I can wholeheartedly recommend her to others. Emma is very knowledgeable and experienced in her field. She takes great care to ensure safe and precise exercises, which have been invaluable to me in building back my strength and good posture after several years of disability. I come away from each session feeling relaxed and buoyant, having had a good workout as well as some fun too!
Emma is an excellent Pilates teacher as she makes her classes suitable for both the group and each individual participant. I've been taking her classes for a few years and find them invaluable in keeping my body feeling strong and flexible. Every class is a little different so we're never bored and I always feel better at the end of the class - thanks Emma your classes are great!
I have been attending Emma's classes or over a year. i have been impressed by Emma's care in choosing the most appropriate class for me.Emma , as well as having an engaging personality, is very careful. She not only has a thorough attitude to her teaching, but also watches the class to check that we are all doing the exercises correctly. she makes it clear that we should only do the exercises that we are comfortable doing, and advises individual people if she thinks an exercise is too much for us, i have very much enjoyed the class and my balance and fitness has definitely improved.
