I went to my first yoga class when I was 17 (now 28). I really struggled to find a yoga studio where I felt comfortable, where the entire focus wasn't only on the physical practice- and by extension being lithe, flexible and "stretchy", or the general "aesthetics" both of physical practice and how people appear, until I went to my first class at Kali towards the end of 2024. The studio is so lovely, all the instructors are warm and friendly, the classes are the most diverse I've attended in Glasgow (in terms of age, ability, gender- there's a great mix), there's also a great range of classes and a low income price option, too, for those who may need it. Yoga is about community, and Kali has definitely fostered that spirit. I mainly attend Scott's classes, which are always delivered with humour and warmth, great direction, lots of options, and the recognition that we all respond differently to certain poses. I've also been to a few of Emily's aerial classes, she's very bubbly, patient and accomodating! Lastly they run a morning class on Christmas day- which is a fab way to start Christmas. I couldn't recommend the studio more.
The kali collective was the first studio I tried in Glasgow and I’m so happy I stumbled upon it. The studio itself is absolutely stunning, and all of the instructors I have meet have been incredibly welcoming and they always make sure they give everyone the attention they need no matter how big the class is which is admirable!! If the fear of being a beginner is holding you back from discovering the best version of yourself then Kali is definitely the place for you.
Loved my first visit to The Kali Collective! The vibe of the studios was amazing & the class was the perfect mix of yin & yang 🧘🏼♀️. Thanks Steph for creating such an open, alternative space to practice some grounding ready for the autumn season 🍂!
Hands down the best reformer and yoga studio in Glasgow. The Creator and Destroyer spaces are stunning and you can tell so much thought has gone into every detail. The whole place just has such a great vibe. The reformer classes are amazing, with only 3 people per session so it always feels super personal, almost like a private class. The instructors (especially Steph and Ciara) pay attention to your posture, your performance and everything, which makes such a difference. I always leave class feeling incredible and couldn’t recommend it enough!
I came to Glasgow on a short holiday and needed some yoga time. I did 4 different classes and each teacher had their own unique style. They all made me feel welcome, positive and at home here 💖 I loved the decor, heated room, the oracle cards... 🐍 During aerial class, a wee doggie was there. It was too cute. Thanks Kali collective for the peace and the sore muscles. Everything was perfect. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Glasgow!! 🙏
