Me and my son go all the time to little tart. It is so good. So amazing! So awesome sauce! 😋 The food is good. The croissants are so very good. And there's scones are delectable and if you like cheese, mushrooms and sourdough bread you have to get the croque Monsieur.
Never been here before but the vibe is great. Just came to get coffee after lunch before a walk through the cemetery. They serve a proper cappuccino and my wife got a hot chocolate. The cookies look great!
I just need to take a moment to salute the Little Tart Bakeshop (off of Memorial) for its Gluten-free Morning Glory muffin! I was thrilled when I saw that they offered gluten-free at all, but they seem to have recently improved upon their original g-free morning glory recipe by adding streusel! And pecans - and I am beside myself! Not only is this muffin tender (not claggy or tough, like some other g-free pastries) while also being robust, the spiced flavor is maximal and doesn’t recede as you eat it; it builds. Little Tart doesn’t really need my endorsement - it’s incredibly successful already - so this is a nod to my fellow gluten-sensitives out there: the gluten-free morning glory muffin at Little Tart Bakery (just off of Memorial) is a must-try!
LOVE Little Tart! I always get the salted honey oat latte which is amazing and not too sweet. Their olive oil cake and cookies are very good too. The space is airy and beautiful and lively with a good mix of people chatting with friends and working on laptops. I also love Little Tart After Dark. DO NOT park in their parking lot without paying!! I’ve seen so many people get booted there!! There’s street parking!!
I am specific about the desserts I like and there weren’t many options on display today for me. I am a “wet bread”/soft dessert kind of guy so I like cake, bread pudding and soft chew cookies . I got the blueberry lemon cookie and a pastry that has some filling in it. Blueberry lemon cookie-taste like artificial blueberry and lemon flavoring. It was basically a blue sugar cookie. I wasn’t a fan. Pastry with fillling-it was flaky with sweetness and saltines. It looks great. The inside wasn’t filled enough for me and I felt it was just something to eat. The oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies looked a bit dry so I didn’t order them today. I didn’t see carrot cake or coffee cake. i’m not a coffee drinker and the food wasn’t the type of food I go for. A certain type of person likes this I’m sure!
