We booked a dinner reservation here last minute and couldn’t get a table in the main dining room, so we chose to dine upstairs in the cigar lounge — and what a great choice! We were taken past the cigar lounge and bar into a separate dining room, where the service was excellent from start to finish. The oysters, scallops, and steak were all outstanding, and the family-style sides (especially the mushroom risotto and green beans) were perfect complements. The wine list is extensive, the service attentive, and the atmosphere unlike anywhere else. Because we booked in the cigar lounge, we were able to select and enjoy cigars after dinner while sipping cocktails at the bar — such a fun, relaxed vibe. It was clear that many guests were regulars, and everyone we met was kind and welcoming. I’m already looking forward to returning and trying the main dining room on my next visit to Kansas City!

Wow. Where do I even begin with Majestic Steakhouse. I went to book a restaurant near the Loews Hotel in Kansas City for some business meetings. I emailed Majestic (a seamless process) and we got our dinner booked. I was SHOCKED at the service and experience provided. Let’s just say a promotion was in order after our business executives enjoyed a cigar, perfectly crafted cocktail, and delicious steak. I thought we would maybe have a nice room to ourselves. Majestic allowed us to book the entire upstairs venue for everyone to enjoy their cocktails and cigars. We then moved to a historic dining area to enjoy dinner. Absolutely incredible and I know words won’t do this experience justice! We had our own personal server that took excellent care of us all night. Mind you, I’m making this review nearly 9 months later as I’m still raving to everyone about this experience.

Snazzy steakhouse with a very caring bar squad! They are ready to cater to your every need. My only complaint is with the sides: Your Wedge salad is LOADED with dressing(see pics) maybe we can tone that down a touch. The Twice baked potato is dry and barely has any toppings. Mostly just potato. For the elevated up-charge, those potatoes could use some TLC. Maybe some more butter or sour cream, they are a tad dry(see pics) The soup was delicious! No feedback there:)

Had an amazing anniversary dinner here. This is the second time that we have come and sat in the basement, listening to the live jazz. The steaks are awesome in the service is good. I always put it on my list when I have out-of-town guests, wanting a good steak.

Amazing atmosphere. If you can get there early enough, there is "open seating" at the bar in the lower-level Jazz Club. My wife and I went there at the last minute for a couple drinks and appetizers. Music was just the right volume; loud enough to enjoy, but low enough to carry on a conversation. Our server/bartender was Mikey & he was awesome!!! Can't wait to go back next time my wife and I are in Kansas City. We'll definitely have dinner at a table in the Jazz Club.
