I recently took my dog Romeo to Marissa's Cooperative Care and completed the course in late summer. My dog Romeo was a rescue from Nickel City and got him when he was 7 months. He would not even let me near him for any kind of grooming and he was deathly afraid of going to the vet. We had no prior knowledge of what he went through before i adopted him but it was major struggle . He would see the site of a brush or nail clippers and run away no matter what treat i may have had. After taking Marissa cooperative care class and practicing at home , Romeo went to a vet appt and he walked in and the vet was able to examine him and gave him his shots and Romeo was not afraid !! it was the best experience he ever had. He also went up on the scale with no problem. I also can now brush him and am able to trim a few nails at a time but we are still working on building these skills up. I continue to still see progress. Marissa is wonderful and so knowledgable their is no situation she cant help you fix !! i highly recommend Marissa and all the trainers at Noble Beast , i drive out to NT from East Aurora because NB is truly the best dog training in WNY , and i have been to many!!! Thank you Marissa !!
The Noble Beast Dog Training offers a variety of classes to meet the needs of both you and your dog(s). My dog Greta has been attending classes since she was a puppy working through Puppy Pre-K and House Dog Obedience Levels 1,2, and 3, as well as in-home day training with instructor Cheryl Kuntz. Cheryl has been our primary trainer (HDO 1 & 3, In-home Day Training, & Private Lessons) which has offered Greta and I consistent support giving us an incredible foundation upon which to grow and build our skills. She creates a fun, non-judgmental space for both dogs and their people. Not only is she wonderful with understanding a dog’s behavior, she is great at instructing handlers in how to remain consistent and fun while training outside of the classroom. With her guidance, I was confident enough to take Greta and my fear-reactive dog for a park outing together. I can’t say enough good things about The Noble Beast Dog Training. Every instructor I have worked with has been remarkable. Throughout every training block the trainers have offered consistent and effective instruction to ensure success for both dog and handler. Looking forward to more classes as both of my dogs enter new stages of development.
If anyone is feeling stuck or at a standstill with their reactive dog I highly suggest reaching out to Cheryl at The Noble Beast. She has been such a life saver in building a bonding foundation and teaching management skills when it comes to reactivity that I can’t thank her enough. My pup and I are communicating so much better and are working at co-existing in the world with much less stress! The facility is clean, the staff is great and scheduling is easy!
Jessica Fritschi owner and trainer of Noble Beast Dog Training...we couldn’t have done this without you and believe me, we tried. Saying thank you doesn’t seem to say enough for helping us along this journey of cooperative vet care. We highly recommend Jessica and Noble Beast for Cooperative Care to help with Veterinary care. We began lessons with Jessica in February. It's definitely not a rush thing at all with Ry, and Jessica gave Ryder all the time that he needed and worked at his pace. So much of our learned skills has transferred to use in so many other situations as well. Cooperative Care lessons with Jessica made the difference between success and failure. Every suggestion that she made, was working. I cannot express the feeling of seeing Ryder finally able to accept vet care without frenzied anxiety or fear. I feel quite fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Jessica. She’s skilled and knowledgeable and patient. I’m very impressed with how she seems to organically know exactly how and what to do. He is learning to trust the process. I love seeing him being able to trust so we can help him. Well done and Kudos Jessica!! I am eternally grateful. Good boy Ry ❤️
I cannot say enough about The Noble Beast Dog Training. I started there in November of 2024 with my new Golden Puppy Walter. We started with Puppy Pre-K classes and then went on to the House Dog Obedience Classes. I also have 2 Golden Girls so it was a bit of a crazy household with a new puppy joining the family (first male dog of our family). I loved the fact that I would be able to continue my training with at home private lessons. I have already gone through 6 home sessions with Jessica (she has done wonders for us and the 3 dogs). I just signed up for 3 more lessons. The various things we have accomplished are training with the E-Collar and determining what his low level is. How to use it effectively. Using the collar for name recognition and recall. Using the collar for Place. Not only has Walter done amazing with this, so have my other girls. It has helped so much with them not dodging the door when people come to visit (huge help). Structured toy play is so important (especially with multiple dogs). Something I never really thought about. Walter learning to drop it (he is very determined to not let go) and saving a trip to the vet for a foreign object ingestion (he likes to grab socks, towels, pillows etc. as this is what puppies do). He is mastering this slowly but I work with him everyday on this. She has helped immensely. We have used the E-Collar with long line work outside. When and when not to reward with food. Verbal cue associations. She has reintroduced my DogPacer Treadmill with my oldest Golden Phoebe (9 1/2) who has done great. We are in the process of training Walter (who is adapting well to it) and working with Ella (4) to help with her fear of it. We have worked with walking outside where he walks right next to me. He has done wonderful with this and is the best walker out of my 3 dogs. Walter loves to take rides but as he got bigger and I could not pick him up to get him into the car, it was impossible for him to get in and out due to the size of my SUV. With Jess's help I purchased a Klimb Dog Training Platform to help him get in and out of the car. With 20 minutes of training from Jess, he now goes every morning to Tim Horton's with me. What a fun thing for him to do every day. He loves his rides. I simply cannot say enough about Jessica and The Noble Beast and if anyone is looking for an amazing, knowledgeable and fun trainer, she is your girl. They have many trainers in several areas of expertise. Please check out their website for all services. They do not dissapoint !!!
