Does this place just avoid customers that want to place a to go order. When you say something you're pointed to qr code that just has the menu, that you can't order from

The Original Pancake House is a classic breakfast spot serving made-from-scratch breakfast and brunch since 1953. When I tried Spokane location, I honestly didn’t expect a chain restaurant to be this good. The place was not so busy, so food was quick, friendly staff. I got the biscuits and gravy with sunny side eggs. The biscuit was fluffy, soft inside. But the best thing was the sausage gravy. Very savory, creamy and rich, combining with runny egg yolk, beautifully!!! Portions are big, definitely filling. I couldn't finish my portion. Overall very solid comfort breakfast, simple but done right. Would come back again when in Spokane especially for weekend breakfast cravings too.

My best friend and I went to the Pancake House this morning thinking we were going to have an AMAZING breakfast. The service was amazing and the place was cute The food? oh my lord. I am so sorry but the food was a disaster. I had gotten the blueberry waffle with bacon on the side and it was a singular waffle that costed $17. The inside of the waffle was filled to the brim with mushy blueberries and the waffle itself was SOGGY. Another thing to add, they served it with a side of blueberry syrup and the syrup was PURPLE cause thats what color blueberries usually are when they are crushed up or whatever. the inside of the waffle was DYED with ARTIFICIAL BLUE FOOD COLORING. What place even does that? My best friends food? She got some sort of breakfast bowl, not sure exactly what it was but ill ask her later. when they first brought it out, those eggs were NOT cooked. she had them take it back and cook them more. Also, the side of biscuits and gravy? foul. who DOESNT SEASON GRAVY? It was so plain and bland, even IHOP does better than that. The breakfast bowl? it had an ocean of grease at the bottom of the bowl. She was able to pour out the grease on a PLATE. That is how much grease there was. we were not pleased with our food and obviously did not want to pay full price for that. so we got 50% off, but when the check came, they tried charging us for coffee we didnt even get? we brought our own coffee we bought from a shop on our way there. We got that sorted thankfully. now, onto the troubling part. My best friend took a total of four bites of that breakfast bowl. Not even 10 minutes after we left the place, we were walking to the plaza to get on a bus and go back to her place. she had to stop in the middle of the sidewalk and had to run behind a few cars to puke her guts out. we have since then made it home but she is now stuck in the bathroom throwing up. she has been in there for 10 minutes. -67/10 would never EVER recommend.

The employees are Great, very kind. And the food, this was the best breakfast I've had in my life, it felt like Jesus himself was cooking our food.

The food looks good, but our experience wasn’t. When we got there, there wasn’t a very long wait, and when we got sat, we ordered fairly quickly. I asked for the banana Nutella crepes but with strawberries because I’m allergic to bananas. It came out, and it had bananas all over it. Our waitress, Hope, was the only good part of our experience honestly. She got them to remake it for me and was very kind throughout the whole experience. The guy who brought it out said “is this better” in a very nasty tone with a nasty look on his face, as if I hadn’t specifically said I was allergic to bananas and they messed it up. They finally brought it out, but at that point my friend had completely finished his meal already. All in all, the food was ok, the atmosphere was ok, our server was good but the guy who brought our food was pretty rude. Won’t be going back there.
