It was my first experience at The Sanderson and I cannot say enough about how good it was! It was my partner’s birthday so we wanted to celebrate at a great steak restaurant. We ordered the scotch fillet and the duck for our mains and both were excellent, cooked perfectly. They even provide complimentary condiments for the dishes and for the knives they bring out a whole palette for you to choose from, which felt really special. The starters were delicious as well. I personally recommend the mushroom croquettes. And last but not least, our waiter (I did not get the chance to catch his name) was absolutely lovely and friendly and he even shared the same birthday as my boyfriend. I wish I could have tipped him separately if I had cash on me. Please give him a raise as he truly made the experience even better. Thank you for the wonderful evening and for the birthday card you prepared. We will definitely be recommending The Sanderson to our friends and family. Please do not let this go viral because I want to come back and if it gets too popular I won’t be able to find a booking 🙏

My husband booked this restaurant for our stay in the city Saturday night. Great service indeed from the time you walk in, wonderful atmosphere, talk about beautiful artwork around. The food was delicious, steak melt in my mouth, mushrooms were delicious, can’t fault anything. can’t remember the name of the drink we toast and it was so good. Definitely will visit again 🙏🏾

Great experience! Super friendly staff, took care of us very well 🙌 Bless. They even gave me a small gift for the farewell party, so sweet 🥹 Both the signature seafood set and signature land set were great. Seafood was very fresh 👌 The serving size is huuuge, didn’t expect to be actually full at a fine dining restaurant, so good. Dessert was so nice too, I rate the cream brulee 😋

We had our anniversary dinner at The Sanderson and it truly couldn’t have been better. We actually had no booking and had to leave a nearby restaurant after they gave our table away (won’t name names!), but from the moment we walked into The Sanderson, the team made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely incredible—hands down the best steak I’ve had in ages. We shared the beef tartare to start, which was easily the standout entrée of the night, and from there, we just kept ordering because everything was so good. The duck and the scotch fillet for mains were both packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. We really had the full experience—great food, a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere, and genuinely fantastic service. Toa, our waiter, was funny, friendly, and super knowledgeable, which made the night even more enjoyable. Autumn, who I believe was the manager, was so professional and made sure we were having the best time from start to finish. Honestly, it was one of the best nights we’ve had dining out in Sydney. Thank you so much to the team for turning our night around and making our anniversary one to remember. We’ll definitely be back soon.

I celebrated my birthday at The Sanderson and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The vibe was great, the service was super friendly, and everything just felt really well taken care of. The food was delicious, and the drinks were spot on—exactly what you’d want for a special night out. They gave welcome shots for everyone. What really made it extra special was the sweet surprise at the end: a little gift and a handwritten card. Such a thoughtful touch that totally made my night! Huge thanks to the team at The Sanderson for making my birthday so memorable. Can’t wait to come back!
