Both my dogs have been coming to Second Pup since they were puppies. We’ve done lots of daycare and boarding with them and they are the first people I recommend when others ask where my dogs stay when we’re out of town. My dogs don’t really like people or change but Second pup is so good with ensuring they are well taken care of. I really appreciate that they’re able to separate dogs into so many different groups depending on their temperament, not just large and small dogs. I’ve gone to a few day cares in the city and my dogs like second pup the best. Even after boarding them for 3+ weeks, my nervous pups are very happy to come back. I’ve been to other places where they refuse to walk into the door after a handful of daycare days. I have nothing but good things to say. I love the pictures and updates. My dog Tucker has been visiting The Second Pup daycare since he was just a puppy. Now, 5 years later he boarded with them, for the first time, spending 4 days. They celebrated his birthday with a party and treats, and uploaded photos and a video to their facebook page. We are super grateful to experience in Tucker’s celebration as if we were there. He seemed to have a great time, and they were super accommodating with his meal and sleep requests.
It is Lingo’s second year with The Second Pup. We couldn't be happier with the care our pup Lingo receives here. The team is AMAZING! They treat him with so much love and attention. I had never taken my dog to daycare or boarding before, so I was nervous at first — but The Second Pup has become like a second home for Nova. From day one, the staff have been so welcoming and kind. They always greet Nova by name, and you can tell they genuinely care about every single dog that walks through the door. Nova absolutely lights up when we arrive — she can’t wait to run in and see her friends, and she always comes home happy, tired, and clearly so loved. We’ve also boarded her here, and the updates and peace of mind they provide mean the world. Thank you to The Second Pup team for taking such amazing care of Nova.
