I visited The Tree Place right before Christmas to learn more about their selection of small to medium sized Magnolia trees. Even though they were technically “closed” for the holidays, the arborist took me around the nursery and showed me a couple different Magnolia trees. He spent a good amount of time explaining the care and feeding of the trees and how the trees should be planted. We also discussed available installation services. I really appreciated the information and learned a lot about my options for purchasing a desired tree. Last week, I returned to The Tree Place and again met with the arborist to pick out a tree for purchase. He was very helpful in pointing out a few nice trees, noting how they would look if I chose to cut off some of the bottom branches. After picking out a tree, we then reviewed next steps, including using the local free service to mark any gas and other utility lines to ensure a proper planting location. I also learned about the watering schedule and was given a long spiked stick to regularly check the moisture of the soil to ensure I’m not over or under watering the tree. I opted for installation, so my tree will be planted as soon as the utilities are marked. I really appreciate all the time and attention the staff at The Tree Place gave me, as well as the education provided. I look forward to the installation of my new tree.
