Highly recommend this place 100%. The staff here was on top of their service, especially right after a show at the NJPAC theater. Small dining room, but made up for the very nice servers and attentive care they put on their customers. Food was fantastic, sauces are DELISH! Burgers are amazing. Cauliflower tots just as amazing. Very transparent on what they have to offer. Black owned business as well, love being able to support 🙌🏼 Much love to yall!

the warm welcome from the ultra friendly staff set the atmosphere for a meal filled with layers of flavor, spice and the right touch of heat. get the walla sauce and put it on EVERYTHING you will not regret it. save room for the coconut cake, slightly grilled , warm with a moist crumb *chef’s kiss* this is a meal I will say dream about for a long while. can’t wait to come back to Newark, thanks to the yard

Had the Fish Fillayyyy with cut-fries, very very tasty. The fish filet sandwich was great and also, that Walla Sauce I was dunking the cut-fries into was SUPER tasty. The staff service was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. Ended up ordering "The Breast" to go and had every intention of having it for dinner but... it's just too damn tasty. Eating it now. 5/5 stars. nom nom nom Keep up the good work, thank you for existing and also for being open on xmas eve. :)

Had the ox tail burger with a side salad. My fiance had wings. It was fye!🔥 Great service. Good music. Cool spot. BYOB. Will definitely come again. 💖

Amazing first experience at the yard. Came here with some coworkers for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. Staff were super friendly and helpful when placing our orders. Also, they would always come check on us and made sure our drinks were always filled. Superb service! I ordered the seoul sista fried rice. Beautifully plated with a flower in the bowl. The fried rice was made with kimchi that wasn't overly spicy and a large fried egg on top. The Yaya sauce was creamy and paired well with everything. Overall, loved the dish! My coworkers ordered the oxtail sandwich, the walla chicken and the chopped thigh wrap. Everyone loved their dishes and want to come back to try the other dishes. Lastly, we ordered the grilled coconut cake. This is definately a MUST try! First time having a grilled cake and I can say I've been missing out!
