The place is old, but nice. Facilities could do with an update. Reasonably clean. You have to walk through a cold corridor to get changed...No showers! Teachers are easy going, friendly and pleasant. But all is reflected in the price. Beginners like me, are welcome. Practice is reasonably paced.
I went to a Hot yoga class this wednsday , the class was really good and the instructor was very professional, she handled the class very well. After a hot yoga i went to take a shower at the mens change room but the place was a disaster +the smell was kiling. I took a very cold shower in a hurry then went to talk about it but the man replied that mens shower are closed for a while. What do u mean Closed when u have hot yoga classes that people are supposed to take a shower after. I don't reccomend visiting before they fix the showers and for me i still have four other classes to take
😞😞 Sent Stu an email and asked if i was able to join an upcoming retreat with the yoga hub to India. I asked that the payment be split. Stu said this was not possible. I accepted. As a buisness owner i thought he may be able give me more time to pay. I also wasn't sure how he had worked out the payment dates with the company/maybe he could ask them idk. But that is fine, okay, no problem. Worth a shot right? Why did he not just leave it at that? 😫 I have anxiety and depression. But I opened up to Stu a few months ago. Telling him the yoga hub helped me grow my confidence. I really wanted to travel one day and told him so. I told him about how much my mental health improved even though i still have a bit to go and asked his opinion on bali to go for a yoga hub retreat. He encouraged and told me to wash away any concerns and go for it. Factors he told me in his opinion that stopped me from attending the trip ;Intensity of the trip I have travelled before numerous times. Being in a group setting makes this simpler for anyone. Travelling to a country far away can make anyone unsettled. But you plan and there you go. Next one is Travel demands ?? Travelling to a new country is what i have done before. It is exciting. Next one, Unfamiliar environment i am used to unfamiliar environments, spent my life moving. And part of the reason I want to travel is to experience a new enviroment I enjoy seeing the world. Especially being in familiar company in a new country. Next one is, emotional challenges. I am a 24 year old grown woman that is perfectly capable of handling my own emotions. I think the retreat will challenge EVERYONE emotionally 🤣. Yes i shared many months ago that my anxiety can be a struggle but i also said more recently (in the card i gave him along with goodies from my shop) how the yoga hub helped me to improve my confidence, business etc. Do you just like to pick and choose words now and use them against people? Did not even ask me how I am doing , just made assumptions! Just because I struggle sometimes with anxiety does not mean I get treated like a baby or act like one. You claim you are being honest about limitations. factilitators/ as a group...Stating " the structure of the retreat doesn't allow a level of emotional support that may be needed if things become overwhelming" Who do you think you are to speak to me like that. You have no right to speak me in such a disguisting and insensitive manner. You don't know me at all! I am no different to you. I am probably more emotionally intelligent than you after observing your behaviour and language. 🤣🤣If you are that concerned about my anxiety and mental health you probably should not of given your one sided horrible opinion with no evidence. You say it comes from a place of care. No it comes from a place of making assumptions, putting those with mental health in a box and babying adults. You say it also is for the well being of the group... you realise i don't need a bottle and to have my nappy changed or need a cuddle if i have a sore tummy. If you want Stu, i am more than happy forward you charities that can educate you how to behave, communicate and treat those with mental health (and how to not discriminate or exclude) Stu,you smacking m's behind and telling him "thats for being late" is bizzare behaviour 🤔 I would find THAT concerning and worrying in regards to the well-being of others. Very hypocritical of notes all over your business 😮💨 Also so what if recently i have attended more friday classes? I also have attended loads of the other ones. Been attending for nearly 1 year. Devastated to have spent £50 a month for over a year to have Stuart tell me how little he really thinks of me (completely un neccessary). If you respect someone you do NOT speak to them like that. Keep those thoughts to yourself. I thought he created a friendly eviroment where people could de stress, feel respected & part of a community... Frank is an amazing teacher and i will miss his classes 😪
The ambience in this studio is so nice. This is a REAL, authentic yoga experience. The instructor are all really friendly when you come in and are very good at explaining where everything you need is and explaining what to do within the class. I also like how the yoga mat’s and water’s are provided free. Overall this studio is very lovely and friendly with a great atmosphere and would recommend to anyone.
