Denton is blessed to have a place that can revitalize craft items! I hope to see this store in business many years. Sometimes I take items to donate I know they can put out and sell immediately, but other times I take items to donate that might be considered trash by some. I’ll ask them if they would want it, and they have never turned away any of my donations. Even packing paper from moving and packing styrofoam. I’m in awe they have such a system to utilize and sort through donations. I’ve even been pleasantly surprised to see some of my donations as part of their store decorations they change out from time to time. I love how they organize things and have ongoing projects. I shop Thistle first for any project I might have, and they get a lot of the things I no longer need or use. My mom lives out of town, and any time she comes to visit us, she always wants to go to Thistle. It has made family memories for us!
Love this place. I founD so many useful things , and some great project ideas as well as gifts. had many items that were new and still in the box , as well as remnants and things , useful for crafters and artists who are on a budget. Staff Was friendly, available, and helpful
I loved my experience going to this store! There was such a wonderful variety of crafts and art supplies there. I was mainly there this time for fabric, because recently got into sewing and I was able to find fabric that I loved and was excited to use. I brought my two year old son and he loves to get into everything. Lauren, one of the store employees, played games with my son while I shopped. It was great! While my son was playing Lauren shared the purpose of this store. I think it is really amazing how art supplies can be donated here to be reused. I will definitely be coming back to see what new things have been donated!
Great variety and great price for a lot of craft items. Whether you are a long time crafter or thinking abt starting a new craft hobby but not sure if you want to commit, this is a great place to start. Many yarns, fabrics, threads in all colors, sewing notions, ephemeras, washitapes, crochet needles, crayons, rubber stamps, etc you name it. The place is pretty organized and very clean.
